As if there’s not enough already going on in our busy lives, add the stresses of the holidays – buying presents, visiting with family, Christmas parties.
Now pile on the stress of the economy and it’s no wonder we’re a little frazzled.
Angie Kosirog with the Dharma Room says, “That sort of adds to this whole feeling of maybe some hopelessness, maybe feeling lost and wanting to connect with something larger than what’s really going on in our world today.”
That’s what people here at the Dharma Room feel is bringing in more people.

Kosirog says, “People are starting to realize what yoga is really about, it’s not just putting your foot behind your head, chanting, it’s not a religion. It is a complete philosophy for daily living that allows us not only to feel good in our bodies but also to feel good in our hearts and minds.”
Classes here at the Dharma Room cater to beginners and teachers here say everyone can benefit.
And that yoga is for everybody and every body.
Yoga instructor Kendra Brouwer says, “Anytime you can come to a place and just focus on you and how you’re feeling and what’s going on in your body it takes your mind off everything else going on.”
And what may start as a holiday stress reliever could turn into a New Years resolution.
