Jnana Yoga

This yoga consists of eight parts, of which five are external and the other three are internal. Two of its parts, namely, Yama and Niyama deal with the types of behavior the student yoga should avoid like lying, cheating, stealing, etc., and behaviors that must be cultivated, such as cleaning, non-recovery etc. Asanas and Pranayama are two parts of this yoga.
